Job Description
Pact is inviting applications
from qualified Sudanese consultants to support civil society
organizations (CSOs) with organizational and technical capacity development.
These short-term, part-time consultancies will play a critical role in
strengthening Sudanese CSOs through capacity assessments, peer-to-peer
learning, and technical trainings.
Application Deadline: October 2, 2025 (applications accepted and reviewed
on a rolling basis)
Estimated Period of Performance: February 2026 – October 2027
Scope of Work
Selected consultants will:
- Lead organizational capacity assessments
(in-person in Uganda, Kenya, and
virtual).
- Deliver organization-wide trainings, peer-to-peer
learning sessions, and one-on-one coaching.
- Support CSOs in developing and implementing capacity
action plans.
- Produce reports summarizing outcomes and
recommendations from sessions.
- Contribute to customized technical assistance,
tools, and learning resources.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant
field (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Gender Studies, Peace and
Conflict, Psychology, or related disciplines)
- At least 3 years of professional experience in
the MENA or East Africa region, particularly in fragile contexts
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Demonstrated experience in
organizational/capacity development for civil society actors
3 years of professional
experience in one or more of the following:
- Strategy and Business Plan Development
- Project/Program Management
- Finance, Accounting, or Procurement
- Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning
- Gender Mainstreaming
- Fundraising
- Communication and Advocacy
- Leadership Coaching or Institutional Governance
- Do No Harm, Risk & Security Management
- Women & Youth Empowerment

Additional qualifications
such as certificates in Organizational Development, Change Management,
Coaching, Training of Trainers, or similar areas are preferred.
