Job Description

Background

CNFA is currently seeking applications from qualified candidates in the following areas for and upcoming USAID-funded Zambia Rural Agricultural Enterprise Development Activity. The activity is anticipated to facilitate access to finance for rural Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), address financial service providers’ barriers to lending to SMEs, and address barriers that limit agricultural enterprises’ ability to seek and qualify for loans.

CNFA is currently seeking applications for the following types of professionals with minimum 7 (seven) years of experience in their respective sector to support this project. Please indicate the area(s) of expertise for which you would like to apply in your application:

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in agricultural development, value chains, enterprise, access to finance and/or agribusiness;
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is required, Master’s degree is preferred;
  • Experience working on USAID-funded projects is preferred;
  • Experience working in Zambia is highly preferred;
  • Fluency in English is required; Fluency in Bemba, Nyanja, Tonga, or Lozi is preferred.
