The purpose of this role is to lead the growth and expansion of the India market through building and maintaining strong portfolios with key stakeholders, to pursue new client and business opportunities that compliments or broadens our current business ventures. You are also expected to lead the delivery of high value technical solutions that deliver results and impact, continually meeting the changing needs and priorities of our clients and beneficiaries.

The primary responsibilities of the Chief Executive Officer, Palladium India are to:
* Lead the overall business of Palladium in India
* Develop and execute the market’s vision and strategy in alignment with Palladium’s global strategy.
* Drive change and growth and oversee all aspects of market’s day to day activities - from a business, operational, control and people management perspective.
* Build and grow a team through effective human resource management and development of all employees. Ensuring effective team leadership, communication, retention and engagement strategies.
* Prepare and execute annual business plans and forecasts and achieve budgetary and business targets for India operations.
* Collaborate with other teams within EMEA to drive change and growth in the Indian market through the implementation of new and sustainable business opportunities.
* Manage the overall country operations ensuring profitability and sustainable business ventures with clients and donors.
* Oversee the delivery of business development targets for India operations.
* Ensure that all personnel employed in the country comply with all Palladium policies, procedures and processes, in particular our code of conduct and good business conduct guidelines and comply with all donor/client requirements as well as best market practice.
* Ensure regular contact with management and business development teams, key external clients /agencies/partners and any other strategic stakeholders.
* Ensure that compliance, finance, governance, operational, reputational, market and strategic risks are identified, reported on, managed and mitigated.

Minimum experience required
* Minimum 15 years relevant work experience in the professional services sector
* Minimum 7 years of experience in a senior role in an organisation working with Government projects
* Experience in India or in a similar environment
* Proven track record of effective people management, including: leading, developing, coaching, building, mentoring, motivating, evaluating and supporting teams

* Executive experience in dealing with P&L in the area of Consulting or Program management
