Chemonics International seeks a chief of party for an anticipated USAID-funded project in the Middle East tasked to establish the requisite institutional and regulatory framework to implement a nation-wide water demand management program. The proposed activities seek to build institutional capacity for water demand management in involved institutions; develop and support the enforcement of laws and regulations for efficient water use; and demonstrate selected water-demand management initiatives to the public. Responsibilities include: technical oversight, supporting program design, work planning, and implementation; liaising with project stakeholders; reporting and tracking contract results; and supervising a team of long- and short-term professionals.
Qualifications: ? Advanced degree in related field, or comparable field experience ? At least five years of experience in water-demand management and related activities ? Experience as a chief of party of USAID-funded projects preferred ? Experience leading and working with multidisciplinary teams, and managing technical assistance teams ? Demonstrated ability to advise and manage working relationships with high-level officials ? Prior experience working in the Middle East preferred ? Outstanding written and oral communication skills ? Fluency in English
