Background
CRS Philippines, established in 1945, is the longest running, continuous CRS country program in the world with extensive programming in peacebuilding, emergency response and recovery, and disaster risk reduction. The Philippines country program has over 150 staff members in Manila, Davao, Iligan and Catarman offices. CRS Philippines is committed to collaborating with our strong network of church partners, national and subnational government agencies, and secular NGOs throughout the country.
Job Summary:
As Chief of Party I, you will provide leadership and overall management of the five-year USAID-funded project Climate Resilient Cities, to improve resilience by strengthening the adaptive capacities of cities in the Philippines to manage the impacts of climate change and access climate finance and to enhance stakeholders’ knowledge on climate information for planning and decision-making. Your leadership, management and technical knowledge will ensure the delivery of high-quality programming and advance the position of CRS as a leading agency in the field of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) with a focus on Climate Change Adaptation (CCA). As a senior leader, you will proactively manage security and mitigate security risks.
