EMERGING MARKETS GROUP (EMG), an independent firm associated with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, provides international development consulting services funded by donors such as USAID, Dfid, CIDA, Global Fund for HIV AIDS, MCC, the European Commission and the World Bank.

EMG is currently seeking a Chief of Party for an upcoming 3-year USAID funded financial sector project in Armenia. Responsibilities will include assisting the Central Bank in implementation of risk-based supervision; improving corporate governance practices in commercial banks; developing mortgage and insurance markets; and enhancing banks and insurance companies ability to offer more products and services. The ideal candidate will have prior Chief of Party experience in the region; and a background in bank supervision, the financial sector, and management.

Short-Term and Long-Term Consultants

EMG is seeking short-term and long-term Consultants with at least 5 years of consulting experience in developing countries, preferably in the region. Expertise in one or more of the following areas is needed: Banking regulations, supervision and enforcement Non-banking financial institutions regulations and supervision Securities Markets and Insurance regulations Banking MIS/IT Mortgage market development Banking and Insurance markets, including product development Corporate Governance Accounting and auditing reform

Proficiency in English required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed. Team leadership and management skills are preferred.
