Overview:

Climate Solutions is a unit within ISS ESG, the responsible investment business of ISS. As investors seek to gain a better understanding of their exposure to climate-related risks, Climate Solutions provides data, analytics, and advisory services to support investors to understand, measure, and act on climate related risks & opportunities and its impact on investments across all asset classes. ISS ESG Climate Solutions is an innovative market leader within its field.

ISS ESG Climate Team is working closely with its clients to help them with risk analysis and is looking for passionate team members to work extensively on different aspects of GHG emissions accounting, quantification of risks, and client support on these subjects, on day-to-day basis. The successful candidates will be part of ISS ESG Climate Solutions team which works on a wide range of climate products and metrics for an ever-expanding investment universe.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation of advisory mandates, bespoke data and report deliveries of ISS ESG Climate Solutions
  • Conduct climate impact analysis on investment portfolios across all asset classes
  • Provide support and input for Client Calls based on deliverables requirements and effectively address client queries.
  • Co-ordinate with required stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high quality of data to the clients
  • Contribute to standardization and automation effort of bespoke analysis.
  • Bring on board ideas and implementation techniques to improve and streamline analysis and delivery of products especially for alternative asset classes.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Environmental science, Environmental engineering, Economics, Climate change studies, Disaster Management Sustainable Finance or in similar discipline.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience relating to data analytics, climate consulting, or climate change is preferred. However, applications from fresh graduates are also encouraged
  • Possess in-depth knowledge on scope 1, scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions gained either through audit or consulting work experience. Very strong quantitative (and qualitative) analytical skills and excellent conceptual thinking aptitude.
  • Excellent command of Excel and good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Integrity, organizational skills, high attention to detail, a self-driven work ethic, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to conduct deep dive research based on client needs and process requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written command of English.
  • Willingness to work with a highly collaborative, flexible, and innovative team across different locations
  • Regular work hours with slight flexibility to collaborate with colleagues and clients in different time zones.
