Mott McDonald’s International Health division specialises in the health sector, working in low- and middle-income countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, South and South East Asia. We have been working with governments to improve health systems worldwide and is growing and expanding its business in the areas of global health security and nutrition. Our main clients are governments, and bi- and multilateral institutions such as DFID, FCO, and UK Department of Health.
We are looking to recruit a Commercial Assistant to provide support and guidance on commercial matters with a focus on bidding/tenders, budget analysis, contract reviews and working closely with Project Principals, Project Manager and Health Specialists.
For this role you will have significant experience working in a commercial environment providing advice and support to business development and operation teams of large and complex development projects. You will be proven in applying financial and process management skills, preferably with previous experience of supporting the management of International Development programmes. You will be able to work to tight deadlines with highly developed organisational and planning skills.
