Duties and Responsibilities
The internship is located in the Office of the Director of the UN Library and Archives Geneva. It provides an opportunity for exposure to knowledge management, communications, cultural diplomacy and outreach in an intergovernmental setting, and for developing further an understanding of the issues on the UN agenda and of the work of the international system in Geneva.

Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Experience in drafting communications and social media posts is desirable.
Experience in multimedia/podcast production is desirable.
Interest in the work of the UN is required. Please indicate if you have a specific area of interest related to the work of the UN.
Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this internship, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of French is desirable. Fluency in other UN official language is desirable.
