Abt Associates seeks candidates for a project in Ethiopia that will 1) provide technical assistance to the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) to implement the Health Sector Transformation Plan (HSTP); 2) ensure safety and quality of health products and services; 3) implement Ethiopia’s National Health Financing Strategy, including improving domestic financing for health; and, 4) refine and scale up community-based and social health insurance schemes. A brief description and qualification requirements for the open position are listed below. In addition to the specific requirements, understanding of DFID administrative procedures and requirements is highly desirable, and applicants should have a willingness and ability to travel outside of Addis Ababa. This position is contingent upon award of a contract.
