AIR is currently seeking Literacy consultants to support our new KIX-funded project- Strengthening Teacher Professional Development for Multilingual Foundational Learning at Scale. The project will be implemented in Senegal. This is a 33-month project aiming to achieve three main objectives: 1) adapting an innovative teacher training package for multilingual teacher education; 2) generate knowledge; and 3) mobilize knowledge. This role will work closely to support AIR headquarters in designing, developing, and rolling-out of the literacy interventions in collaboration with implementing partners and other in-country stakeholders. AIR will contract directly with the Independent Consultant under a consulting purchase order agreement.
Scope of work: The literacy consultants will work closely with the team and will be responsible for supporting the design and oversight of literacy assessments, materials mapping and development, and training for teachers and other educators.
