Background
ChildFund International intends to engage a consultant with extensive expertise on comprehensive HIV prevention, care, and treatment including the areas of community interventions, family planning, family support, and early infant diagnosis. The consultant will facilitate the technical design of a concept note in response to the call for proposals issued by the Positive Action for Children’s Fund. The proposed project will aim to alleviate the impact of HIV and AIDS on women and children’s health by supporting interventions that engage affected communities and developing capacity. In this process, the consultant will work with ChildFund and its local partners (as appropriate) to guide the project design, and to present a coherent technical approach building on consortium members’ expertise. The consultant may facilitate proposal design webinars, produce technical drafts of the technical approach and monitoring and evaluation sections, and offer technical inputs and guidance for the preparation of the budget.

Expected Level of Effort: Up to 20 days
Timeframe: From signature of consulting agreement to submission of proposal to donor.
Management and Supervision: The consultant will report to the Senior Business Development Manager.
