The WVUS Child Protection and Education (CPE) team is seeking a Lead Technical Proposal Writer consultant to lead the development of high-quality proposals for USG opportunities in the areas of child protection and youth (sector themes include but are not limited to: combating trafficking in persons, child labor, child marriage, violence against children, promoting positive youth development, etc.). This role requires a strategic thinker who can synthesize information, craft compelling narratives, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and deliver proposals on time that align with the organization’s goals and donor requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and research skills and experience in developing proposals in the above listed sectors/themes. S/he will report to the Business Development Manager assigned to the specific proposal on the WVUS Proposal Management Team. This position may require travel as needed. This position is contingent on grant opportunities, and alignment with grant priorities and needs.
