The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE), under its Road Sector Development program Phase II (RSDPII), is undertaking different road projects financed by the government. The Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA), as representative of the FDRE, intends to select Dispute Review Expert(s) for the consulting services of dispute settlements for the 15 under-mentioned contracts.

ERA, duly representing the FDRE, hereby invites all interested professionals to submit their CVs which will be the basis for selection of the Dispute Review Expert for the Dispute Resolution Service of the afore-mentioned projects. The Dispute Review Expert will be selected according to the following criteria:
• Education: —Minimum of B. Sc in Civil Engineering or LLB in Law
• General Experience: —Minimum of 20 years experience in Civil Engineering or related fields
• Adequacy for the Assignment: * —Experience in road construction and/or supervision and/or Contract Administration of FIDIC based contract (minimum of five years experience or experience in minimum of three projects, with not less than one year experience in each project) —Experience as claim analyst or contract specialist or Resident Engineer (minimum of five years experience or experience in minimum of three projects with not less than one year experience in each project) —Experience in dispute resolution as Dispute Review Expert (DRE), DRB, and/or in arbitration, adjudication, mediation, etc. (minimum of ten years experience or experience in minimum of ten projects) —Experience in Developing Countries (minimum of five years experience in minimum of three countries) —Proficiency in the English language
The function of the Dispute Review Expert will be in accordance with the rules and procedures for the Function of the DRE as set in the works contract document.
