The role
SMEC is looking for a “Contract/Claim Specialist” to join in Sri Lanka Road Design & Construction Supervision Project.
Key Responsibilities
The Contract/Claim Specialist is overall responsible for Contract Document finalization, claims analysis, claims management and dispute resolution.
Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
· He/she should be qualified B.Sc. Civil Engineer/B.Sc. Quantity Surveyor.
· He/she should have minimum of 20 years’ experience in contract administration carried out under FIDIC conditions of Contract, and out of which 10 years as Contract/Claim Specialist.
· He/she should have membership of Royal institute of Chartered Quantity Surveyors (MRICS or above)/ Corporate membership acceptable to institution of Engineers Sri Lanka.
