The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Specialist plays a significant role in supporting the company’s charitable donations programs, as well as corporate sustainability reporting. This individual manages day-to-day operations of our corporate contributions including grant program workflow and budgetary and regulatory reporting.
Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements. Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesn’t meet regulatory requirements including fraud, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources or Corporate Security, or can be reported through Associated’s anonymous Ethics Hotline.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Administer the company’s charitable grant program activities, serving as primary point of contact for grant applicants, senior leaders and colleagues on process navigation. Optimize work flow for evaluation of funds requests with appropriate internal committees, senior leaders and Community Reinvestment Act team.
• In coordination with Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, administer the company’s charitable budget, providing reports of accountability based on charitable budget segment allocations.
• Provide data for regulatory and finance reporting. Assist in analysis and reconciliation as required.
• Assist with the production of materials for the Charitable Advisory Committee, Community Development Charitable Committee and related meetings.
• Assist in the development of reporting capabilities to support a comprehensive and accurate picture of ASB total giving. Support approach(es) that enable the company to measure change delivered by its programs.
• Coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility reporting process, working with other departments to collect data across full sustainability spectrum.
• Research best practices in corporate grant management and actively consult with team members and management as needed to formulate, recommend and implement solutions that go beyond the obvious in a timely manner.
• Assist with the production of corporate social responsibility programs and community events.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Business, Finance, Marketing or Communications or related field
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree Business, Finance, Marketing or Communications or related field
Required Experience: 2-4 years Business, Finance, Marketing or Communications or related field
