Job Summary:
CRS is implementing a 5-year USAID-funded Climate Resilient Cities (CRC) project. As part of the CRC project implementation team, you will provide technical analysis and support in the area of internal data and geospatial analysis dedicated to building the capacity of the project targeted city stakeholders and supporting the successful and appropriate implementation of data and geospatial solutions in line with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) program quality principles and standards, donor guidelines, and industry best practice to technical staff, and Country Program (CP) staff to advance the delivery of high-quality programming to the poor and vulnerable. Working closely with the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) team, project managers, city coordinators and technical (output and outcome) leads, your skills and knowledge will contribute to determining how effective, adaptive, and innovative CRS’ Climate Change programming is across the globe.
The GIS and MEL Technical Associate II will develop map products, reports and/or dashboard applying data and spatial analysis techniques to the CRC Project specifically and other projects underway at Catholic Relief Services (CRS). These products serve as valuable communication tools to improve the efficacy of programs.
