Tetra Tech ARD (), is currently recruiting local and state-level policing sector professionals to serve on the U.S. Department of State/INL international CJPS missions in Afghanistan, Haiti, Iraq, Kosovo, Lebanon, Liberia, Sudan, and the West Bank. The purpose of the CJPS is to establish and maintain rule of law programs in countries that are emerging from internal or external strife. Missions may be short or long-term in duration and may require rapid mobilization. These positions are contingent upon contract award. All long-term positions are subject to a firm, one-year commitment.

In addition to policing sector specialists, ARD expects to provide experts in all related areas of criminal justice including corrections and justice. Missions may be short or long-term in duration and may require rapid mobilization. These positions are contingent upon contract award. All long-term positions are subject to a firm, one-year commitment.
Minimum requirements for Civilian Police missions:
- At least 5 of the past calendar years (8 years preferred) on active duty service in a certified state or local law enforcement agency (federal agency service, either uniformed or plain-clothes, is currently NOT ACCEPTED)
- U.S. citizenship
- Excellent physical condition (a physical agility test is required during initial assessment phase of training)
For all missions:
- Ability to communicate in English is required; proficiency in one or more of the following languages is desirable but not required: Arabic, Kurdish, Albanian, Turkish, French/Creole, Spanish, Pashto, Farsi, Dari;
- Must be able to pass a required company background investigation;
- Must either possess a current U.S. passport or have the ability to obtain one prior to deployment.
- Experience in a multicultural environment.
