International Team Leader Capacity Development (24 months)
Qualification
- MSc/MA in Business Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or relevant discipline
Relevant Experience
- At least 10 years professional experience, sound Knowledge and conversant with outcome based international TVET systems in particular in relation to competency based training and assessment frameworks,
- MSE development experience; preferably on projects targeting growth-oriented women entrepreneurs,
- Competent in the management of training of trainers / multipliers in related HR development,
- Familiar with markets, industry sectors, work process, organizational structures and economic developments,
- Familiar with functional analysis, Occupational Standard and assessment tools design and approaches,
- At least 5 years of TVET related quality management experience preferably in similar projects; professional experience in Africa, preferably Ethiopia,
- Proficiency in system and related operating structures, standards and outcome result indicators,
- Ready to familiarize with and implementation of already existing Ethiopian system,
- Experience in change processes, conflict management, team work and negotiation skills,
- Networking and coordinating expertise of industry and private sector,
- Familiarity with World Bank funded projects is desirable

International Expert(s) Women Entrepreneurship Development (6 months)

Relevant Experience
- At least 10 years professional experience in private sector development for SMEs
- Experience working with the target group of growth-oriented women entrepreneurs
- Experience in needs assessment for growth-oriented women entrepreneurs,
- Experience in devising training plan, drafting of training material and training delivery,
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Africa, preferably Ethiopia
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational & problem-solving skills,
- Excellent written and spoken English
National Expert(s) Women Entrepreneurship Development (12 months)
Qualifications

Relevant Experience
- At least 8 years professional experience in private sector development, entrepreneurship development, business development services for SMEs
- Experience working with the target group of growth-oriented women entrepreneurs
- Experience in needs assessments, devising training programs, curriculum development, drafting training material, training delivery
- Excellent communication and drafting skills in Amharic
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to travel extensively to the project sites

- Experience in identifying skill gap of TVET trainers in relation to WEDP capacity building venture,
- Ample experience in developing training modules based on occupational standard,
- ?xperience in providing training of trainers in a range of specializations (technical skill, quality & productivity, entrepreneurship and technology development), with relevant international and national inputs,
- Abel to adapt, adopt, document and transfer complex international best practices,
- Experience in developing training programs and material,
- Experience in coaching trainees and in devising and implementing supervision strategies to ensure quality and effectiveness of the training,
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Africa, preferably Ethiopia

- Knowledge and experience in gender mainstreaming methods, including ability to develop toolkits and manuals, checklists and guidelines; gender analysis; practical use of gender disaggregated indicators; equal opportunities; reconciliation of career and family life
- Experience with assessing and advising institutions and professionals on gender issues
- Experience advising institutions and professionals on training programs and service delivery with regard to their appropriateness to the female target group
- Preferably experience with projects targeting growth-oriented women entrepreneurs
- Experience advising on gender sensitive M&E systems

- Experience in data collection and analysis, data quality assessments, and/or performance monitoring and reporting
- Experience with designing and delivering training on M&E to national public institutions
- Experience with coaching institutions and in devising and implementing supervision strategies to ensure quality implementation of M&E procedures within institutions
- Previous experience on World Bank funded projects
