Job Description

Period of Performance: up to 20 days

Start-time: Immediately, deadline for final deliverables is February 20, 2020 or earlier

Purpose: Lead the development of the Transforming Access, Agency, and Power (TAAP) Training Package to create a full training package that includes a clear curriculum framework, modules in line with the TAAP Toolkit, training guides and participant workbooks, and learning/skills assessments. Work collaboratively with World Learning content experts, curriculum specialists, and trainers to develop the final products.

Responsibilities:

· In-depth review of TAAP Toolkit, background documentation, and draft materials in collaboration with program team to understand training curriculum purpose and goals

· Review and revise Curriculum Framework that clearly outlines scope and sequence, learning outcomes and skills outcomes for beginning-user through advanced-user training modules

· At the direction of WL colleagues, write and format sections of curriculum modules, training guides, participant workbooks and contribute to development of learning/skills assessments (based on already available drafts) according to the workplan already established.

· Finalize formatting and production of training package material in collaboration with program and marketing colleagues (both face-to-face delivery and blended delivery)

· Lead piloting of training package materials and lead revision process

· Lead preliminary trainer of trainers course for World Learning staff

Qualifications:

· 3-5 years of experiencing leading the development of experiential curriculum and training materials

· Expierence with online and blended course design, ability to support design of engaging visuals to enhance participant learning

· Self-starter with a proven track record of delivering high quality curriculum and training deliverables on time

· Knowledge of the TAAP Toolkit; understanding of gender equality and social inclusion concepts and approaches in the international development sector

· Demonstrated ability to lead consensus building during collaborative processes to achieve a final product
