Job Description

WYG International has recently been selected to tender for a forthcoming project entitled "Technical Assistance to the Transport Sector".

The overall objectives of the project of which this contract will be a part are as follows:

to contribute to economic growth in Montenegro by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of its road, rail and civil air transport facilities;

to facilitate trade flows with neighbouring countries;

to provide a catalyst for attracting IFI loans and other investments in the transport sector.

The location will be Podgorica. The intended commencement date is April 2010 and the period of execution of the contract will be 15 months from this date.

We are currently seeking a Harmonisation of transport - related legislation expert to join us with the following qualifications and experience:

Qualifications and skills

• University degree in law;
• Excellent spoken and written English;

General professional experience

• Minimum 7 years of previous experience in providing policy advise and consultancy on legislative issues to government structures;

Specific professional experience

• During the last five (5) years, he/she should have specific experience in at least one (1) project of a similar nature, targeting legal harmonization within an EU Member States, candidate countries or potential candidate countries

The expert will be required for a minimum of 210 working days over the duration of the contract.
