This Opportunity:

Palladium is looking for a Deltek CostPoint Systems Manager to join our Finance portfolio. This position will be responsible for managing the Deltek CostPoint system configuration, ensuring data integrity, providing user support and training, along with driving continuous improvements to enhance operational efficiency and financial management processes. Additionally, this role will support system administration, optimization, and utilization of Deltek CostPoint system

Location and Compensation:

The position is based in Palladium’s Washington D.C. office.

For our prospective employees in the United States, please note that the full-time equivalent annual base salary for this position is expected to be $xxxxxx, and successful candidates may also be eligible for additional, variable incentive compensation dependent on the role. For part-time employees, the salary will be prorated based on the actual number of hours worked.

The role will report directly to the Americas Chief Financial Officer with close coordination with the Global Director of Financial Systems

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Deltek CostPoint Systems including COBRA and PM Compass, strong technical and analytical skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing enterprise financial systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, IT, Supply Chain Management and project management, to streamline processes, enhance system functionality, and maximize the potential of CostPoint.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Deltek CostPoint system-related activities within the region and organization, ensuring the system meets the specific financial requirements of the Palladium Group.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting, and supply chain management teams to analyze business needs, identify system gaps, and recommend process improvements.
  • Manage the optimization and configuration of Deltek CostPoint modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Costing, Procurement and Time & Expense, to align with the organization’s financial operations.
  • Develop and maintain user documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures related to Deltek CostPoint, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and user adoption.
  • Provide user support and training to employees utilizing the Deltek CostPoint Systems, including troubleshooting system issues, resolving user queries, and delivering training sessions to enhance system proficiency.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Deltek CostPoint Systems, overseeing data imports and exports, conducting regular data integrity checks, and addressing any data-related issues.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and compatibility of CostPoint with other systems and applications, fostering data integrity and process automation including the development of system configuration/architecture diagrams.
  • Monitor system performance, identify areas for optimization, and implement necessary enhancements or upgrades to meet evolving business needs.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Deltek CostPoint releases, features, and industry best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, leveraging the capabilities of the Deltek CostPoint Systems to support compliance activities and audits.
  • Manage relationships with Deltek or other system vendors, coordinating support and maintenance activities, and collaborating on issue resolution and system enhancements.
  • Lead system-related projects, including scoping projects, creating project plans, managing resources, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Facilitates external audit and review of systems required to meet corporate or client obligations

Key Competencies Required:

  • Proven experience as a Deltek CostPoint Manager, preferably within a government contracting or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Deltek CostPoint products such as Cobra and PM Compass, Deltek modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Costing, Procurement and Time & Expense.
  • Proficiency in configuring, administering, and supporting Deltek CostPoint, including user access controls, security settings, and system configurations.
  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles, processes, and best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify system issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

· Working knowledge in Deltek Modules SQL Tables and their structure

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within the system.
  • Experience with system integrations, data migration, and report writing tools (e.g., Cognos, Crystal Reports, SQL) is a plus.
  • Multi-currency experience is preferred.
  • Certifications in Deltek CostPoint or related fields are highly desirable.
