The Team & Role:
Surveys & Advisory Services (SAS) is the business research and consulting practice at Devex. SAS leads quantitative and qualitative surveys and other customized projects for Devex clients, conducts in-depth assessments and reports on issues that matter most to the global development community, and develops business-focused editorial content, including practical business analysis and advice. SAS works with some of the most progressive and impactful private and public sector organizations in the world, including multinational corporations, international NGOs, and U.N. agencies.
The SAS team is looking for a versatile, business-minded, and highly-analytical DEVELOPMENT ANALYST with excellent oral and written communication abilities. The right candidate can contribute to the design and management of projects, excels under deadlines, and thrives off multitasking. He or she can conduct in-depth research and data analysis, but also take a step back and explain in plain English what the findings actually mean to an international development audience. The candidate is comfortable with managing large data sets, creating images, charts and graphs to professionalize deliverables, and conducting face-to-face and over the phone interviews to gather critical information.
