CNFA is an international agricultural development organization that specializes in the design and implementation of sustainable, enterprise-based agricultural initiatives. We work with businesses, foundations, governments, and communities to build customized local and global partnerships that meet the world’s growing demand for food. Since our inception in 1985, we have designed and implemented enterprise-based, agricultural development initiatives to facilitate market access, enhance agribusiness competitiveness, increase productivity, and improve access to inputs and financing in 47 countries around the world.
Program Description:
CNFA is currently seeking applications from qualified candidates for a Digital Communication Specialist position to support the West Africa PRO-Cashew Project (PRO-Cashew). CNFA has been implementing the PRO-Cashew project funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for the past five years. The PRO-Cashew project has been extended for a further 2.5 years, until March 2027. The PRO-Cashew project will help boost the competitiveness of West African producers by improving the efficiency and quality of production and trade, and by developing more coherent regional trade and investment policies. The USDA Project’s Digital Communications Specialist will oversee the project’s social media channels, including developing content and producing and editing high-quality photography and videography for use on social media. This includes ensuring effective and timely communications and coordination within the project team as well as promoting project objectives, achievements, and activities to donors, relevant public, private and non-profit actors, and the general audience in Cote d’Ivoire.
The position works with all project components and stakeholders to optimize the project’s digital communications strategies, including content development, and social media management. The position will actively engage and collaborate on a regular basis with the U.S.-based CNFA Communications team to amplify project impact and drive effective communications.
