Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Islamic Relief is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to support the development of digital learning content and the communications of learning activities at HAD for the wider organisation. Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create, design, and develop engaging digital learning content.
• Utilise e-learning authoring tools to develop interactive modules and incorporate multimedia elements such as videos, animations, and graphics.
• Implement targeted communication activities for IRW global colleagues to ensure engagement with our learning offer.
• Write and generate content for the website, internal digital newsletters, print publications, and social networking sites.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate with a minimum honours degree obtained within the last two years.
• Committed to Islamic Relief’s faith-driven values and core humanitarian principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Proactive, able to use initiative, prioritise work, and deliver results.
• Strong written communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Team player with flexibility and adaptability.
• Client-focused approach.
• Committed to learning and fulfilling the requirements of the Internship Scheme.

Skills and Experience to be Developed

• Introduction to the humanitarian sector.
• Understanding of Islamic Relief’s work culture and values.
• Familiarity with organisational learning processes.
• Experience in communications planning, project management, and delivery.
• Practical knowledge of digital authoring tools to develop interactive modules.
• Exposure to administrative tools and duties.
