Job Description

OneSky is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to manage our individual, corporate and foundation giving in Singapore. The Director of Partnerships is a motivated fundraiser and an excellent communicator and collaborator. They will have a track record in building, maintaining, and stewarding new and long-term donor relationships, and soliciting gifts of USD$25,000 or more. They will oversee a pipeline of funders based primarily in Singapore but also potentially in Hong Kong and other cities in Asia. They will serve as a member of  the Global Development team.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Location: Singapore-based – remote working

Role requirements:

  • Collaborate with other global team members to grow and diversify individual, trust, foundation, and corporate fundraising with an aim to secure support across all program areas.
  • Continually research and identify individual, corporate and foundation donor prospects in multiple sectors that align with our mission priorities to maintain a robust and diverse prospect pipeline.
  • Solicit and secure grants annually as well as manage and grow a robust fundraising program.
  • Develop and maintain strategic, high-level relationships with funding partners and prospects in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Grants to develop and submit competitive and compelling proposals, reports, budgets, and supporting materials by their due dates.
  • Work with Finance, Program and MEAL staff across the organization to ensure accurate and consistent messaging in all OneSky funding proposals and reports.
  • Develop motivating pitch decks and fundraising collateral with input from program, event, communications, and design staff suitable for your prospect pipeline
  • Ensure funder engagement benefits and deliverables are met or exceeded within the required timeframe.
  • Establish consistent use of the CRM function of Salesforce to track pertinent donor and prospect information, cultivation, and stewardship.
  • Represent OneSky and its programs at industry conferences, meetings, site visits, events, and phone conversations with individual donors and corporate and foundation representatives, as required.
  • Monitor and provide regular updates to leadership and staff regarding Singapore fundraising strategies, activities, prospects, progress, and revenue.
  • Contribute to designing annual global event strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry influencers and advocate groups.
  • Travel – up to 15%
  • Undertake any additional duties that may, from time to time, be necessary and compatible with the nature of this role.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 7-10 years experience in generating income from individual, trust, foundations, and corporate partnerships 
  • Demonstrate success in securing high-level funding
  • Familiarity with Singapore, and fundraising landscape

Preferred

  • 7+ years professional experience within senior roles
  • Superior project management skills
  • Salesforce NPSP proficiency, or similar CRM
  • Commitment to early childhood education and care
