Deloitte is seeking a Distributed Generation/Renewables Energy Specialist with at least 15 years of recent experience in analyzing renewables potential and system integration. Experience should include, integration of renewable energy sources in the U.S. and developing countries, battery storage, distributed energy resources (DER), cost analysis for technology alternatives, stochastic and deterministic modeling approaches, load and fuel cost forecasting, renewable energy power purchase agreements, and clean energy finance. Experience advising utilities how to improve system operation with increased DER and automation/smart technologies, is strongly encouraged. Familiarity with current and developing regulations and technical norms for DER is necessary. This position will provide subject matter expertise to brief senior-level executives, write reports, and develop/implement trainings.
