EEDA Project Qualitative Data Consultant
Position Summary: The qualitative data consultant will provide support to the Empowering Evidence-Driven Advocacy (EEDA) project to code, analyze, and communicate qualitative data from in-depth stakeholder interviews carried out in Ethiopia, Nigeria, Uganda, and Senegal. The consultant will use principles of qualitative data analysis, MAXQDA software, and an established project code book to code the data and synthesize findings.
The EEDA project is implemented by the Population Reference Bureau (PRB) and the International Youth Alliance for Family Planning (IYAFP) to assess implementation of youth-friendly FP services in six countries between 2017 and 2019.
This consultancy is estimated to last through April 2019. The level of effort will be variable, depending on when sets of interview data are completed in each country, and may range up to 20 hours per week. The position allows for a flexible schedule, but may require the individual to work in the PRB office in Washington, D.C. at least some of the time.
