The EIB, the European Union’s bank, is seeking to recruit for its EIB Global Directorate (GLO) – Partnerships for Impact Department (PFI) – Co-financing & Partnerships Division (COPAR) - Regional Blending Facilities Unit (RBF), at its headquarters in Luxembourg: TRAINEE
Duration: 5 months (fixed start date: 1st September/October 2025)

Objective of the traineeshipYou will be able to acquire practical knowledge about different mandates within the Co-financing & Partnerships Division by contributing to the development of grant applications for specific blending operations, as well as their monitoring and reporting, i.e. operations benefitting from EIB Global lending and from grant or concessional funding (such as technical assistance, investment grants or financial instruments) from the EC Regional Blending Facilities. You will have an opportunity to work in an international environment and have extensive contacts with internal and external stakeholders such as European Commission (EC), and colleagues in other International Financial Institutions (IFIs).
ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Head of Division, Head of Unit and more senior colleagues, you will actively participate in the Division’s core activities. Your main responsibilities will be:
