Job Description

Duration: 6 months

Purpose of the Role:

The Employee Relations Intern will support the ER Team by assisting with data analysis, reporting, and the development of tools and resources. The role will provide hands on experience in HR/ER, focusing on preparing reports, surveys, and presentations, while learning about global HR practices in a supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Collect and analyze ER and staff engagement data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepare dashboards, charts, and reports using Excel and Power BI (or any other relevant tools) to support presentation.

Tools & System Support:

  • Assist in developing and updating ER tools, templates and case tracking systems.
  • Support the preparation and rollout of surveys, feedback forms, and other staff engagement mechanisms.

Engagement & Communication Assistance:

  • Help prepare presentations, infographics, and summaries ER insights for manager.
  • Support coordination with HR colleagues and other stakeholders during ER initiatives and projects.

Administrative & learning Support:

  • Provide day to day support to the manager with scheduling documentation and follow-ups.
  • Assist in organizing training sessions and maintain ER knowledge and resource files.

Note: Employee duties are not limited only to the above-mentioned Accountabilities; he/she may perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree. Ideally in a relevant field, such as HR, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related filed.

Experience

  • Prior HR work experience for 6 months, preferably in an HR generalist role.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts) and Power BI.
  • Excellent skills in creating graphs, dashboards and presentations (Power point).
  • Basic knowledge of HR/ER principles and interest in employee relations and engagement.

Computer Skills

  • Prior experience of business administration and working with IT systems such as Office 365, TEAMs etc. Computer literate and experienced with MS Office Suite.

Languages

  • Fluent English is essential.

Desirable

  • Exposure to survey design, data visualization, or HR information systems.
  • Knowledge of additional languages (Arabic, French).
