Job Description

We are planning to appoint Engineers(Civil,Structural,Electrical,highway)/ Architects /Cultural Heritage Conservation Specialist/ Quantity Surveyor for tourism related Projects in Punjab. Brief about the requirements are as follows

Location: Amritsar / Ropar, Punjab

Project Duration: 48 Months

Scope of Work:

The scope of work includes i) Survey and Design ii) Project Supervision and Monitoring iii) Social, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, Community Participation and Gender Issues, in the field of Tourism and development.

Supervision Team:

1. Construction Manager (International Expert)(Person months required for Amritsar-48;Ropar-48):Degree in Civil Engineer with min 15 years experience, of which, minimum 8 years at international level in construction supervision of civil structures, infrastructure services. Experience in design and management of historical/archaeological sites, landscaping and ecotourism projects would be added advantage. Should be Conversant with National/International codes and best practices in design and management.

2. Civil Engineer – Utilities (Person months required for Amritsar-12; Ropar-12): Degree in Civil Engineering with Min 8 years experience in infrastructure laying projects. Should be Conversant with National/International codes and specifications.

3. Cultural Heritage Conservation Specialist (Person months required for Amritsar-18; Ropar-18): Degree in Architecture with Masters in Conservation with minimum 5 years experience including work at archaeological or monumental sites. Demonstrated ability to analyze site management problems; develop indicators; devise solutions and design conservation and heritage components and supervise its construction.

4. Road and Bridge Engineer(Person months required for Amritsar-12; Ropar-09): PG in Civil/Transportation/Highway Engineer with min 5 years of exp in highways /Roads Design and DPR Preparation. Should be conversant with the requisite national codes in design of highways and road networks.

5. Structural Engineer (Person months required for Amritsar-12; Ropar-09): PG in structural Engineer with min 5 years relevant experience and conversant with BIS codes and international best practices in construction of civil structures.

6. Electrical Engineer (Person months required for Amritsar-08; Ropar-06): Degree in Electrical Engineer with min 8 years relevant experience in external / internal electrification works.

7. Landscape Specialist (Person months required for Amritsar-06; Ropar-06): Degree in Architecture with min 6 years relevant experience. Experience with (i) the restoration or recreation of historic gardens and environments; and (ii) use of indigenous species in landscaping.

8. Asst Construction Mgr / Quantity Surveyor (Person months required for Amritsar-48; Ropar-48): Degree in Civil Engineer with min 8 years experience in construction management and estimation of civil & archaeological projects.
