New Britain Palm Oil Limited (NBPOL) is seeking an experienced Environment Officer to oversee its environmental management systems and certifications within West New Britain, Papua New Guinea. NBPOL is a large vertically integrated, industrial producer of sustainable palm oil operating in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. The West New Britain operations where this positon will be based, is certified under the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and Sustainable Agriculture Network / Rainforest Alliance.
The successful candidate of this role will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Environmental Management Systems within the WNB operations, as well as overseeing the ISO 17025 certified environment laboratory. This position reports directly to the Sustainability Manager, West New Britain.
