Environmental Flows Specialist

Job Description

The environmental flows specialist should have as a minimum an appropriate undergraduate degree and at least 10 years’ experience in the assessment of large hydropower dams on downstream hydrology, 5 years of which should be from working in developing countries. Specific knowledge and experience is required in methodologies used to assess environmental (social and ecological) flow requirements. A strong background in hydrologic, hydraulic and water resources system modelling and the development of strategies for integrated water quantity and quality management is highly desirable. Work location is SE Asia.
