The Program
Australia’s development assistance program in Cambodia aims to contribute to greater prosperity, stability and resilience in Cambodia and the broader Indo-Pacific region. Through Australia Awards, the Australian Government is providing education opportunities to talented Cambodians at the postgraduate level to contribute to Cambodia’s development.
Australia Awards Cambodia (AAC) is an eight-year investment for the period 2018 to 2026. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) has engaged Coffey as the Contractor to manage AAC for the initial four years of the program.
The Goal of AAC is to support Cambodia to progress its development goals and have strong relationships with Australia that advance mutual interests. The outcomes expected at the end of the eight-year investment are:

The Position
The Equity and Program Quality Advisor is responsible for working across the AAC program operations and program enrichment activities to ensure the quality, targeting and effectiveness of activities delivered, and their contribution to AAC’s End of Investment Outcomes. The Adviser will support the AAC team to deliver equitable, quality assured results through scholarships and short-term awards, and across program enrichment: equity and social inclusion, gender equality and women’s empowerment, alumni engagement and on-award enrichment
The Advisor will ensure continuous improvement of program activities and contribute to planning, monitoring and reporting of the Annual Report, Annual Plan, Program Enrichment Strategy 2018-2022 and the MEL Plan, consistent with relevant DFAT Policies and Strategies.
