Budget processes and public financial management in French-speaking Sub-Saharan Africa

Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) is seeking a French-speaking expert support in the development and delivery of learning materials on budget processes and good public financial management principles. The expert will deliver training and coaching in French on public financial management as part of a programme to help develop youth leaders in sub-Saharan Africa.

The expert will develop learning and information materials on budget processes and principles of good public financial management. The aim is to provide young leaders with a basic grounding in the concepts they need to make their governments more accountable and to influence more transparent and equitable prioritisation of resources and their effective oversight.

The consultant will work with WFD’s Head of Practice Accountability to shape learning material suitable for African countries with contexts that reflect more the French and French-speaking systems of governance.
