Project Summary:

Jordan Public Accountability and Justice Strengthening Activity is designed to strengthen accountability systems, procedures, and mechanisms within the Government of Jordan and judicial institutions and enhance their ability to serve and communicate effectively with the public. It also fosters awareness and pressure by civil society organizations, the public, and the private sector on the government’s adherence to the law and its international commitments to govern in an accountable manner that safeguards the rights of vulnerable populations.

Position Summary:

The Facilities and Logistics Manager is part of the operations team on the Jordan Public Accountability and Justice Strengthening Activity (PAJ) and will carry out duties designed to meet the objectives of the project. The Facilities & Logistics Manager will perform under the general direction of the Director of Finance and Administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintenance of project property inventory, including assigning property tags and physical verifications.
  • Ensure maintenance of office facilities and equipment.
  • Oversee logistical support for meetings, workshops, and training events.
  • Support office equipment purchases and oversee office equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Chief of Party (COP) and the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Vocational institution certificate required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • At minimum three years of experience in facilities and logistics management.
  • Prior experience on USAID- and other donor-funded development projects preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess priorities and manage a variety of competing, time-sensitive tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in written and oral Arabic and English required.
