Reponsibilities

Primary activities include but are not limited to: understanding and supporting ACDI/VOCA’s implementation of Unit4’s Business World (Agresso) ERP, and assisting in improving the application’s functionality and configuration; creating and maintaining end-user instructions and training guides, documentation for administration and business processes; administering user profiles and role access, build workflows and forms, and assisting in the configuration, implementation, and support of new and existing modules, including Financials, HR, and procurement; troubleshoot errors and work closely with IT, service departments and software vendor to address system level issues and end-user Help Desk tickets; coordinate with super users to lead effective testing of changes and software upgrades prior to implementation into a production environment; support integration between the ERP system and other ACDI/VOCA applications such as Concur, Unanet, CRM, UltiPro, QuickBooks, and SharePoint.

In addition, the Financial Systems Analyst will work with financial accounting and other stakeholders from across the organization to understand and translate business requirements to ERP functionality; assist in the planning, configuration, training and deployment of Business World to overseas field offices; assist in the design, development and maintenance of standardized and customized reports and analysis using reporting tools.

We are seeking a D.C.-based Technical Director, Agriculture Systems. The Technical Director (TD), Agriculture Systems will provide technical guidance and support to projects, proposals and overall organizational strategy around agricultural systems, which encompasses production strategies, inputs and services supply systems, and agriculture markets that promote resilience and inclusive growth. The TD helps to ensure that projects follow best practices related to agricultural systems in terms of production, markets and stakeholders' relationships, that are in line with ACDI/VOCA's values, and that contribute to market systems that are more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient. Provides support to ensure continuity between initial project design and implementation. Leads the implementation of specific project products such as: market system and value chain assessments, feasibility studies, business plans, development of technical scopes of work as well as technical inputs to grants solicitation mechanism; provides support to ensure that projects enable evidence-based learning; and conducts research and learning around best practices in improving agricultural production in the context of ACDI/VOCA's projects.
