Draft, review, and edit high-quality written communications, including letters, reports, and investor materials, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and alignment with organizational objectives.
Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in written French, producing well-structured, grammatically sound, and contextually appropriate documents.
Preparation of a consolidated and detailed investors tracking sheet for each Africa50 vehicles/initiative to support the team in its fundraising process.
Investor meeting support, including the generation of materials including presentations, portfolio updates, reports, agendas, bios, and any additional briefing documentation
Maintenance of LP data in the CRM, make sure information is accurate and all engagement activities are captured. Assistance backfilling information into the system.
Assist with the planning of roadshows, conferences, official visits, and Shareholders’ meetings, and preparing relevant documentation.
Market intelligence and research on key investors, target markets and the competitive landscape
Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile
Outstanding Academic Performance: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree and either have completed a Master’s degree or be in the final year of a Master’s program.
Essential Work Experience: Demonstrated practical experience is mandatory; acquired through internships or up to one year of post-graduation work.
Career Progression Opportunity: Proven ability and interest to transition into a full-time analyst role upon successful internship completion.
Bilingual Proficiency Required: Excellent communication skills in both French and English, both written and spoken.
Proven experience in business writing, correspondence, and formal communication, particularly in French.
Excellent writing and communication skills, particularly for government stakeholders, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and effectiveness in official documents, reports, and correspondence.
Work or academic experience with the following: Interest in investment Management, Marketing, Private Equity, Infrastructure, Investor Relations.
Strong relationship to Africa - whether it be origin or a demonstrated long-term interest/commitment.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Willingness to work overtime and flexibility regarding hours.
