The purpose of this activity is to finalize and deliver a 12-month integrated education and skills training program, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and life skills for 6000 young women and 1000 young men (age 15-35). It will also provide learners with hands-on training in the following market relevant vocation skills: agriculture, childcare, fisheries, solar energy, community health work, and connecting learners with employers or guiding them towards entrepreneurship opportunities at the end of the project.
Education Development Center (EDC) is seeking a seasoned Gender-based Violence (GBV) Officer to supervise GBV prevention and response activities for adult learners and young women in the Southwest State of Somalia.
