GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Application period for the program: February 10th to February 17th, 2026

  • Internship duration: 6 months (March 01 – August 31 2026)

The Global Green Growth Institute internship program provides a unique learning opportunity for students and recent graduates from diverse academic backgrounds. The program is designed for talented and motivated individuals skilled in areas relevant to GGGI’s operations. The program allows selected candidates to gain insight into the work of the Institute and provides assistance and training in various professional fields in a multicultural environment. CURRENT OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a talented individual to work with us in the Finance Corporate Service (FCS) Unit to provide operational support to the budget unit, specifically in relation to carrying out day to day activities of the Procurement unit.

The assignment will include the following but not limited to:

  • Contribute to ensuring that the procurement processes for the Mexico Office meet the standards and quality required by GGGI and the team’s needs.
  • Support to ongoing procurement procedures and new procurement procedures under supervision of GGGI staff.
  • Provide additional support to the Sr. Administrative Assistant as needed.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants to the GGGI internship program must at the time of application meet the following requirements:

  • Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s (final year), Master’s or PhD program prior to internship assignment, or a recent graduate within the last 12 months of Administration, Finance, Accounting or Economy.
  • Be engaged or recently engaged in academic study in a field related to the Institute’s work.
  • Possess an excellent command of English.

QUALIFICATION

  • Demonstrated skills in planning and strategy, with a focus on the effective and timely delivery of results.
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, quality control and methodical abilities.
  • Specific education and/or training in procurement/public procurement is an advantage.

SELECTION PROCESS

  • Candidates are required to provide a cover letter and a CV.

  • GGGI evaluates applications based on eligibility requirements, relevance of academic study and work experience (if any); and the level of interest and motivation to contribute to development work.
