Your Role

Our sales team combines deep product and industry knowledge and is focused on bringing our software to global level. We believe every country’s Ministry of Health can benefit from our software and should know about it. You’ll be the one helping us achieve this vision.

As “Global Sales Manager” you’ll manage inbound leads and be the first point of contact for new clients. You’ll be responsible for the definition of the sales strategy, the organization and the monitoring of the full sales cycle. You will manage our Business Development team. You will work closely with the CEO and COO to develop new relationships, industries, and means of growth. Day to day, externally, you will connect with existing and potential clients, communicate our products to a broad range of audiences in events and conferences, and break down barriers in the market. Internally, you will guide the sales team on its actions, material to be used, pricing strategy, etc. You will apply your strong quantitative skills to analyze priorities, metrics, and demand in order to develop strategies. You are both the foundation and the catalyst for Savics. You will quickly become a key reference for our existing clients and are relentless in pursuing new leads.

Your Responsibilities

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market and build relationships with new and potential clients
  • Manage inbound leads and outbound campaigns with our CRM
  • Develop sales strategies for Savics
  • Coach the sales and business development team
  • Understand product offerings and client needs to offer the best solutions and highest level of support
  • Partnering with operations, marketing and product specialists to ensure satisfaction of the customer
  • Suggest to the IT development team customized product solutions to address client needs, concerns, and objectives and increase customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services
  • Define pricing strategy and payment plans
  • Make Savics’ name top of mind of our targeted business community.
  • Manage and maintain quality of opportunities within our customer database
  • Provide onboarding support and customer service to new and existing clients, large and small
  • Interact with global health leaders and implementing partners around the world.
  • Participate in global health conferences and events to represent Savics

The Requirements

  • Master or Bachelor degree in Sales/Business Development or equivalent experience
  • +10 years’ positive experience in sales in a similar ecosystem (long sales cycles, governmental level negotiations, and low and middle income countries environment)
  • You believe in our values which are explained in our manifesto (savics.org/manifesto)
  • Regional/global sales management experience appreciated
  • Over the years, you have built a large network across the international development ecosystem
  • You are experienced in public relations with developing countries governmental institutions
  • You are good at coaching others
  • You are experienced in lobbying international institutions/funders
  • You have experience explaining technical products to customers
  • You are excited to work in a high-growth environment and to help develop new processes and tools as needed
  • You are curious and you love to apply your learning to the daily work
  • You are moved by global healthcare challenges
  • You are comfortable with traveling for prospection (30% of your time)
  • You enjoy meeting new people and working in a fast-paced, diverse environments
  • You are highly independent and motivated to get things done
  • Your are fluent in English and French, good practice of any other widely spoken language is a plus.
  • A permanent internet connection (Savics will support the monthly fees).
