•Supporting a diverse range of clients to deliver tailored World Class Inspection services.
•Delivering profitable business results and building on our reputation as a ‘go to’ global provider for Quality Assurance and Inspection services.
•Provide technical leadership and expertise for delivery of a range of inspection services including vendor appraisal, witness testing and pre-shipment and sampling / post shipment inspection services.
Main Job Purpose
•To grow CA Inspections business globally across multiple sectors including utilities infrastructure, industrial, consumer product/commodities and international development sectors.
•Contribute to establishing CA Inspections as a respected provider of quality assurance inspection services across the world.
Main Responsibilities
Sales Growth
•Develop and execute international business development campaigns and where possible support and work with CA Inspections international offices to identify and develop leads from new and existing clients.
•Lead opportunity tracking and progress monitoring, ensuring timeline and informed decision-making throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
•Lead the identification and assessment of opportunities within the Global Inspection market aligned to CA Inspections capabilities and strategic goals.
•Further develop a comprehensive understanding of the industry landscape, market trends, and potential partners to enhance sales and inform strategic positioning.
•Cultivate and maintain a network of industry stakeholders, partners and clients to maximise exposure and enhance sales.
•Identify and track relevant upcoming potential opportunities through advance intelligence gathering, partner relationships and portals.
•Own and, along with the Head of CA Inspections, ensure achievement of sales targets for global CA Inspections growth.
•Within the above parameters, act as a conduit to support the cross-selling of wider Crown Agents5’ services to a targeted CA Inspections client base.
Proposal Development
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proposals are aligned with client needs, competitive in the market, and effectively communicate CA Inspections and where appropriate the wider Crown Agents value proposition.
•Utilise industry experience to directly support bid writing and provide business development support for key inspection opportunities, taking a hands-on approach in planning, developing, and delivering high quality proposals and concept notes.
•Collaborate with CA Inspections team members and where appropriate cross-functional teams to ensure proposals are technically sound, fully compliant, aligned with client needs, competitive in the market, and effectively communicate the CA Inspections and where appropriate the wider Crown Agents value proposition.
Capacity Building
•Build and maintain strong relationships with all CA Inspections international offices to support the Country Managers and their teams in achieving business goals.
•Support with the planning, coordination, and facilitation of training for wider Crown Agents staff, both in the UK and across all international offices, to build business development capability, specifically in relation to the winning of quality assurance and inspection based new business.
Marketing
•Support the continued development and maintenance of the CA Inspections value proposition.
•Ensure CA Inspections has relevant marketing and communications materials to highlight capabilities.
•Work closely with the Communications Team to lead and support the development of strategy, design, and execution of effective marketing and communication plans that enhance CA Inspections positioning and growth as a global provider of quality assurance and inspection services across multiple sectors including, utilities infrastructure, industrial, consumer product/commodities and international development sectors.
•Develop compelling external messaging and context to reinforce Crown Agents expertise, credibility and impact in the industry.
•Contribute to and maintain refreshed website presence and utilise to aid business growth.
