IMC has been responding the humanitarian crisis in Libya through medical services and integrated protection activities implemented for two different target groups – migrants/refugees and IDPs. IMC has enhanced the scope of its interventions in Libya and increased the protection and GBV response activities with a multi-sectoral response approach. In partnership with UNHCR and collaboration with other NGO actors, IMC provides medical assistance, protection monitoring, outreach services, and registration under the migrant/refugee response in multiple settings – detention centers, community development centers, disembarkation points (rescue at sea), and registration center. IMC is an integral part of referral pathways with its healthcare service for migrants and refugees.
