USP seeks multiple U.S.-based freelance graphic design consultants to support the Global Health and Manufacturing Services Division. The Consultant(s) will support the development and execution of a wide variety of graphic design projects across digital and offline media and materials in support of USP’s Global Health work. They will also be responsible for visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, layouts, and reports. The Consultant(s) will support to both donor-funded programs and GH initiatives. The Consultant(s) will work on an as-needed basis, under specific Work Orders, and will report to the Consultant Supervisor listed on the agreement. This consultancy has a period of performance through October 31, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
· Conceptualize and produce visuals based on specifications.
· Create and produce digital and print design projects in collaboration with other team members and external partners.
· Design graphics and frameworks with quick turnaround.
· Support high-visibility/high-value reports.
· Provide other design support as needed.
· Design communications collateral for internal and external audiences.
· Source high-quality photographs/images for use in deliverables.
· Deliver editable source/native files, as well as outputs that meet specifications according to each assignment (e.g., file resolution, deliverable type, etc.).
· Apply advanced functions of MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and related software to design, structure, and format reporting and communications products that may include templates, reports, PowerPoints, brochures, newsletters, and websites.
· Ensure consistent branding and design integrity of project deliverables.
· Prepare files for hard copy and digital production.
Basic Qualifications
· Demonstrated portfolio showing creative, design, and software skills.
· Expertise using the Adobe suite of design software (including Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat), as well as available online tools as needed for assignments (e.g., Infogram, Figma, Canva).
· Effective time management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or formal training in graphic design.
· Experience working on a USAID-funded project.
· Experience or knowledge in producing digital files such as videos, GIFs, and interactive graphics.

· Overall Design and Production Experience—40 points.
· Client Service Experience—10 points
· Experience working on USAID programs or other USG clients—25 points.

· Price –15 points
Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance will be October 31, 2023 – October 31, 2026.
