The Green Fellows Program is designed to recognize and support individuals committed to addressing global sustainability challenges. By participating in our conference series and engaging with experts, fellows gain valuable knowledge, expand their networks, and enhance their research skills.

How to Become a Green Fellow
  1. Register: Begin your journey by filling out the Green Fellows application form right here on the Green Institute website.

  2. Conference Registration: Sign up individually for each of the conferences: Energies 2.0; World Environment Day Symposium; Global STEAM Conference; World Food Day; International Conference on Environmental Law and Governance for Sustainable Development; World Sustainability Conference 2025

  3. Attend: Join all conferences to qualify for the prestigious Green Fellow title and earn your certificate of achievement.

  4. Engage: Stand out by actively participating in discussions, completing assignments, or submitting projects aligned with the conference themes. This will also make you eligible for the cash prize.

Eligibility:
  • Age: Must be between 18 and 35 years old.

  • Education: Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral program or be a recent graduate (within the last 2 years).
  • Field of Interest: Demonstrated interest or academic focus in sustainability, environmental science, food security, climate action, environmental law, or related fields.

  • Residency: Open to applicants from all countries.

FINALISTS CHOSEN
  • Participate in Interviews
    If you’re selected as a Finalist, you’ll participate in an interview with our panel of experts. Your profile will also be highlighted in our Talent Report.

FELLOWS NOTIFIED
  • Celebrate and Begin Your Fellow Journey
    Selected candidates will receive onboarding details and personalized guidance. Your Fellowship journey begins here, with support from us every step of the way.

APPLICATION DETAILS

WRITING YOUR APPLICATION
  • Start Early: Begin your application well in advance to ensure your responses are thoughtful and complete.

  • Demonstrate Passion and Expertise: Clearly articulate your connection to sustainability and how your experiences align with the goals of the Green Fellows Program.

  • Be Specific: Use concrete examples to describe your achievements, plans, and the impact you aim to make through the program.

  • Follow Instructions: Adhere to the word limits and structure outlined in the application form.

  • Seek Feedback: Have a trusted mentor or colleague review your application to provide constructive feedback before submission.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

As a Green Fellow, you will be expected to:

  • Participate in all program activities, including virtual conferences and collaborative projects.

  • Perform monthly community service activities in your local area and document these efforts with photos, videos, or written summaries.

  • Submit a report of your community service activities each month, detailing your contributions and their impact.

  • Actively engage with the Green Fellows network and contribute to discussions and initiatives.

APPLICATION CYCLES & TIMING
  • Application Period: Applications open from January 23, 2025 to June 30, 2025.

  • Review Timeline: Applications are reviewed by our expert panel within [insert review period] of the application close date.

  • Selection Notifications: Finalists and Fellows will be notified within two months after the application deadline.

SUBMISSION POLICIES
  • Complete Applications: Ensure all sections of the application form are filled out and that all required documents are submitted. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

  • Deadline Compliance: Applications must be submitted before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.

  • One Submission per Applicant: Each applicant is allowed only one submission per application cycle.
