Position Description: TMG is seeking an experienced Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) Officer for the anticipated project to conduct Data Quality Assessments (DQAs) at DoD/WRAIR-supported facilities through funding from the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) in Tanzania. The HMIS Officer is responsible for the collection, organization, control and follow up of all documentation and data relevant to undertake DQA. The HMIS Officer will establish professional relations with all health and HIV/AIDS staff at all directed DOD/WRIAR clinics, facilities and TPDF posts. The HMIS Officer will make recommendations for improvement in records and data consistent with the objectives of DOD/WRIAR.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide consultation to DOD/WRIAR, PEPFAR and the Ministry of Health on HMIS. Conduct workshops, lectures on improving HMIS as directed by Team leader.
