Deadline for applications: October 24th, 2025

The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation has defended women’s rights since 1993. For every woman’s right to be safe and to be heard. Today we are one of the world’s leading women’s rights organisations, working directly in areas affected by war and conflict to strengthen women’s influence and power. We work closely together with over 100 local partner organisations across 20 countries to end violence against women, reach lasting peace, and close the gender gap once and for all. The future is equal. And together, we are change.

About the internship

You will be involved in the day-to-day work of the HR team and will have a designated supervisor. As part of our team, you will support the organisation’s HR processes at our head office in Sweden and across approximately 10 program offices in our operating regions. You will collaborate closely with the HR & Security team, which consists of three members.

Additionally, you will be part of a group of other interns, each doing their internship in different areas of the organisation.

Key tasks may include:

  • Hands-on support in recruitment processes
  • Assisting with HR administration
  • Contributing to updates of HR guidelines or similar
  • Lead one or a couple of larger development projects that align with the organisation’s priorities and your professional growth interests

Work tasks are agreed in dialog with your supervisor.

Furthermore, you have the following qualifications:

  • Studies in HR, business management or other relevant educational background
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish and English
  • Knowledge in gender analysis
  • Experience of working in different cultures

The internship is unpaid, on a full-time basis, and covers approximately 20 weeks, during the spring semester of 2026.

We prefer that you are looking for an internship as part of your current studies or a labour market programme, where you receive reimbursement from CSN or other state funds. If this does not apply to you, you need to mention how your internship is funded.

We will sign an internship agreement and you will have insurance for the duration of your internship.

The internship is based at the head office in Stockholm, with possibility working remotely a 2-3 days a week.
