Job Description
Land O'Lakes is currently providing support to women’s professional organizations in Afghanistan such as the Human Resource Managers Association, Women Engineers’ Association, and the women’s group of the Afghanistan Institute of Banking and Finance to build *high-value- skills in information technology, engineering, and finance and to enable women to advance in non-traditional sectors. We are currently seeking a short term technical consultant with skills as an ICT training expert to lead efforts from the conception to the exection of training programs for these women's groups.Specific objectives- Training on ITC skills to develop participants ideas into functional websites.- Provide training in basic HTML/CSS languages and as well as in HTML/CSS knowledge to work within the Dreamweaver application.- Provide training in Dreamweaver in website technologies, webpage design, planning and maintaining of websites using Adobe Flash animation and Adobe Muse for the creation of websites without coding.- Provide training in graphic design programs such as Adobe Photoshop or Corell Draw to produce graphic input to web-design.- Provide ongoing support to participants on their website functionality, graphics and animation.- Support women in project administration, website planning, timelines and costing, efficient workflow practices, client relations and interview (internal and external clients) skills.DeliverablesThe consultant will be responsible for selecting program participants and designing the methodology to do so. S/he shall develop the training plans, curriculum and timelines. S/hewill provide a bi-weekly report to include class participation and attendance. Further reporting and recommendations for further training will be necessary.QualificationsEnglish Language abilities, both written and spoken (Dari would be a great advantage) English language skills Master degree in ITC Good communication and interpersonal skills 7-10 years of ICT and training experience Experience working with women and women's groups in capacity building 5 years of experience in technology curriculum development
