Job Description

Tertiary Violence Prevention Adaptation International Consultancy

Period of performance: November 1, 2023 – July 31, 2024

DAI, implementer of the Honduras Justice, Human Rights, & Security Strengthening (JHRSS)/Unidos por la Justicia Activity financed by USAID, wishes to receive CVs and techincal/economic proposals for a tertiary violence prevention and adaptation consultancy.

Consultant’s Professional Qualifications and Experience

The following qualifications are required for the development of this consultancy:

 Background in sociology, social development, psychology, criminology, or a related field relevant to the consultancy’s goals.

 Experience in tertiary level violence prevention, juvenile justice, and a comprehensive approach to children and youth.

 Experience designing or implementing tertiary prevention or desistence, rehabilitation, or reinsertion models.

 Experience in psychosocial interventions focused on children, adolescents, and youths at tertiary risk or associated with criminal gangs.

 Experience transferring methodologies is required.

 Ability to conduct analysis and synthesize information, ensuring rigor in the handling of information.

 Proven writing skills.

 Effective team coordination and communication skills.

 Preferred experience working in Central America or with Central American populations.
