Position: Institutional Development Advisor

Position Summary
SNV seeks an Institutional Development Advisor for an anticipated USAID-funded TRANSFORM: WASH project in Ethiopia. The objectives of the USAID/Ethiopia TRANSFORM/WASH activity should encompass a set of innovative and strategic interventions to reduce under-five mortality, through increased use of WASH products and services to be achieved via four interrelated objectives listed below through working with the Government of Ethiopia and other partners to implement 1) Increased WASH governance and management capacity at the subnational level;2) Increased demand for low-cost quality WASH products and services, with a focus on sanitation;3) Increased supply for low-cost quality WASH products and services, with a focus on sanitation; and 4) Increased knowledge base to bring WASH innovations to scale. The Institutional Development Advisor will oversee the quality of all WASH interventions implemented through the program. S/he will be responsible for achieving expected WASH outcomes and work with the project’s Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Advisor to coordinate and systematically disseminate lessons-learned with other USAID-funded WASH activities.
